Our story

conscious * ethical * sustainable * fulfilled

I’m Holly Daffurn, an author and a proponent of gentle parenting. I write a regular column for the natural parenting magazine, The Green Parent. Focusing on attachment parenting practices and motherhood with topics such as breastfeeding, homebirth and the babymoon.

I am a vlogger for ChannelMum, often collaborating with other wellbeing experts and enthusiasts to offer healthy recipes, pregnancy yoga, breastfeeding advice, parenting tips, natural skincare recipes and more.

My first book The Natural Baby: A gentle guide to conception, pregnancy, birth and beyond was published by Green Books and is available around the world. I have also written a series of ebooks for Green Books including an ebook on homebirth, and an ebook on pregnancy loss and miscarriage which will be released in the autumn.

Before becoming a freelance journalist, columnist and author; I ran a massage therapy and complementary healthcare business specialising in pregnancy yoga, pregnancy massage and active birth. I have written for numerous publications including The Green ParentNatural Health, The Ecologist and DIVA. My travel writing for the award-winning Globalgrasshopper Magazine has taken me around the world from Singapore to Sweden. You can find more about my other projects on my writing website.

My desire to empower other parents was sparked by my own pregnancy yoga, active birth, breastfeeding and attachment parenting experiences. I live in the West Midlands with my husband and daughter.

HollyDaffurn-headshot2My intention is to empower parents by offering them the support, guidance, resources and reassurance to help them make the choices that feel right for themselves and their families.thumbnail_20170318_135917
